3500-SYNCHRO Series

HDPOCKETDOORS heavy duty pocket door frame for standard 2x4 walls. The 3500-SYNCHRO series for converging pairs, which allows 2 doors to open simultaneously, and features Sugatsune Synchronized track and hardware that will easily carry solid core doors from 88lbs up to 176 lbs. Available in synchronized and synchronized with soft close open. This kit includes universal T floor guide, a manufactured LVL header that will stay straight and flat and 16 gauge ¾" x 1½" steel posts for added strength and stability. The LVL header is fully assembled including the top bracket so that the steel posts along with the bottom brackets can easily be snapped into place for a quick and easy installation. We recommend a solid core door with a maximum 1 3/8" door thickness in the 3500 series for proper clearance inside the pocket. This system supports solid core doors ranging from 88 lbs up to 176 lbs per door, depending on configuration. Two synchronized options are available: Synchronized (no soft close/open)  Available starting at 18" wide doors. Rated for doors up to 276 lbs per door Synchronized with soft close / soft open Available starting at 28" wide doors. 28"–35-3/4" wide doors: rated up to 88 lbs per door 36" wide and larger: rated up to 176 lbs per door Because synchronized systems rely on a belt or cable to link the doors, proper handle placement is important. A 42" handle height is recommended to reduce door tilt and ensure smooth operation during opening and closing.
